The mill is an interesting and fun outing. For individuals and groups, Dutch and foreigners, adults and children, both private and business, schools, companies and institutions. |

Visit the zaanstreek
Het Jonge Schaap is one of the currently operating production mills in Zaandam. Holland and windmills are synonymous for many foreigners. Often it is thought that mills were only used to pump dry polders with, but that is not so. Het Jonge Schaap is a sawmill, but there are in Zaandam also oil mills, hulling mills, paper mills, dye mills, flour mills, etcetera. The whole Zaanstreek is worth visiting. In addition to the mills and the Zaansche Schans include the Mill Museum, Zaans Museum and Verkade pavilion visit more than worthwhile. Whether you have an hour or a whole day, you have to be bored. |
